Holy crap-- The new full size are between 1.2+ megs. Not good for give aways...

Should also say, I wasn't happy with the depth of field on many outdoor shots. First time out with the new Nikon, I let it auto most things. With that much light, it will be much sharper in future, as I get the manual settings down... For example, its giving an f4.5 at 1/500, when it could do f9+ going as low as 1/60th of a sec.-- This shot, http://free.fets.com/images/fets0919-02.jpg (to be blunt) should have been focus from before the shoe to well beyond her. Instead its focused more like a human eye...

In other words, we are seeing what the camera can do for photo size & color (it likes blue, that's for sure!), but not seen the final image quality it has in it.

Actually, the tights are new... sorta; I put this costume together locally in the past few weeks. To be honest, its a local uniform skirt I've watched walk around here often.

Decided to use 2nd-hand store nearby to get the real Kilt, and bought the shirt, jacket, tights & shoes at the same time. The shoes are pure coincidence-- I found the exact ones as in Hannah's set (the burgundy) but unworn & in black at the same place as the kilt. And the tights? An unopened pair, in an early 70's-era package, in a $1 bin.

Total costume cost was around $15 US; attention to detail is everything.

For sure. You did a great job on the uniform.

As for the camera, 1/2 the fun is tweaking the shit out of it to make it work the way you want and need it to.
